This is what Keegan and Erewhon's "Royal Banners" look like.
Keegan's is, of course representative of the Dragon's Son. Erewhon's is a bursting star, which actually is the symbol of her country, Anuran.

Ah, yes, I went to my first REAL book signing at the Olive Warner Library in Hooker, Oklahoma. The librarians were very, very sweet and made our time well worth it. My blue shoulder dragon, Bruki, helped me sell books. There was a steady flow of interested book lovers for the entire time, and it was a very laid back, cozy atmosphere. They invited me to come back in December for another book signing, and I absolutely intend on going, if the weather holds out.
Unfortunately, like the idiot that I tend to be, I forgot to have someone take pictures until the very end, when we were all packing up. So I only have two good pictures to share with you. I will remember to take more next time! I keep getting in trouble with my "promotion officer" (play of words on propation officer...) for not having quotes and pictures that people can pin to pintrest (yes, the pin-addicts need more stuff to feed their addictive habit...). So, I have been randomly been working on pin-able stuff for my book. In case you did not get the hint: PIN THIS STUFF ON PINTREST IF YOU ARE ABLE. *wink, wink*
These are old pictures taken of my first book singing in April. I forgot to post them... oh well, better late than never, huh?
Here are 10 reviews of my book (first in a series) Tales of the Wovlen: The Dragons Son.
Please, read them and take the time to share them with your friends! It would mean a lot to these reviewers and to this author. *smile, wink* Guiding Lights Homeschool - She's giving away a free copy of my book on 3/20/14! Read the post for more details. A Diligent Heart - This review was written by a 12yr old girl! Wow! 4dputt's Review - "I did tell the author there was one part I did not like - the end. Why? Because it was finished!" Are We There Yet? - "...one of those books that, upon reaching the end, had me saying, “No, it can’t be over already!”." Annie The Reviewer - This review is very nicely laid out! I walked away from this one with a few new tips on how to write a review. Hopkins Homeschool - "He loved this book so much that when Little Miss started getting a little loud he had to tell her "Shh, you're interrupting the show!"" Raising Soldiers 4 Christ - "It was very easy to follow - even for me a non Sci-Fi kind of gal!" The Joy of Homemaking - "Will I read the next book? Absolutely!" Another OtherWorld - A fantasy lover himself, this reviewer says "This book blowsEragon out of the water–read it." I'm His Servant - "I think my fantasy loving friends would enjoy this book. I know I would love to see the movie version!" ![]() After the brutal massacre in his village, a broken, grieving boy chooses to live with a golden dragon in the wild rather than go to the mountains to be with his own people. If only he had known then what that simple choice meant… Thirteen years later, Keegan, no longer a boy, learns that his younger sister survived the massacre and so sets off to be reunited with her. When Keegan accidentally interrupts a plot against a princess, what should have been a fairly simple trip turns into a complicated struggle for survival. A mysterious elder appears, full of wit and riddle. Mythical monsters shed their fictional skin and hungrily pursue Keegan and his dragon. Haunting nightmares begin to tear at his mind. As he continues on his quest to be reunited with his sister, Keegan is only just beginning to understand what it means to be The Dragons Son. Find the book at Amazon.com and CreateSpace.com "A mind gripping fantasy-tale suitable for the whole family."“…Crammed full of action and great characters.” – M.E. Harrow
“…Vividly presented and immensely inviting.” – Ayton Septar “…a fantasy lover's dream. This is a thrilling and riveting tale crafted in a professional style.” – Walden Carrington So far, the "editor" ("angel" is more accurate, I think: The Helpy Helper - Affordable and Friendly VA services) has been making GREAT progress on the novel. We have revamped some face things on it, like the title, and "the angel" made a fantastic book cover (and I mean FANTASTIC). Now we are just working on getting the last few details done, which includes me writing a snappy synopsis (*screams & runs away*). Other than that, we are almost done! Talk about me being Super Excited!
